Sumario:The Federación Obrera Local Rosarina was a localbranch of the Federación Obrera Regional Argentina; it wasfounded in August 1902, and it grew in organization and capacityof direct action becoming a key actor in the first quarter of 1907,the most intense year of workers' conflict against both capitaland authorities. The article seeks to explain both its functioningand its positions through the analysis of two milestones, thegeneral strike in January and the Merger Congress of the workers'movement in March. As it did not have its own permanent press, most of the information comes from two sources, La Protesta,a classic anarchist newspaper edited in Buenos Aires and theRosario newspaper El Municipio which covered the events withremarkable detail.
