| Sumario: | This article aims to debate the meanings of high school for adolescents belonging to this level in the city of Formosa (Argentina). Since the enactment of the National Education Law No. 26,206, secondary education is mandatory in Argentina. These regulations have generated transformations in different aspects of the institutional reality of secondary school. Here we present the first findings related to the fragmentation of meanings present in the secondary education in Formosa Capital. We obtained the results from the design, application, and analysis of a self-administered questionnaire to students in the last year of the intermediate level. This process involved a bibliographic review and allowed the construction of categories of analysis that guided the understanding of the processes that coexist within the secondary school and configure new ways of being and being in school. |
