| Sumario: | In this article we will analyze the trajectories of the presidents and members who were appointed in the Central Education Commission and the subsequent General Council of Education of the province of Jujuy between the years 1883-1920. Specifically, we will present a study of ten presidents and nineteen members revealing the following dimensions: place of birth and relationship with the urban elite of the city of Jujuy; institution in which they studied and degree acquired; previous experience, and average stability of their management. We intend to show that the trajectories present variations in the origin and degree of the officials along three chronologically ordered stages. |
