| Sumario: | This article was written in the spirit of sharing, among the community of scholars interested in Latin and Central American studies, the long-standing and creative contribution of a prominent Central Americanist whose work has become a must for an adequate understanding of the conflict-driven socio-economic and political Central American scenario along the second half of the Twentieth Century. Oftentimes, it is difficult to appreciate the seal of a scholar through a few of his or her productions. Nearing the 70th birthday of this innovative and critical researcher, it was considered timely to give appropriate salience to his valuable trajectory, viewed from the perspective of a life-long contribution. |
