| Sumario: | Modern diplomacy is carried out through non traditional channels, as is the case of Public Diplomacy (PD). PD is the use of media and culture to facilitate the implementation of foreign policy and to improve the international image of a country. In this article, the relation between international relations and media is analyzed, the limits between public and private information are debated, and a series of actions to institutionalize and professionalized PD are presented. |
