Sumario:In this brief essay, the Mexican scientist and literary critic Lauro Zavala, intends an analytic reading of each one of the seven words of the most representative minifiction in the literary tradition of Latin America, "The dinosaur", of the Guatemalan writer Augusto Monterroso. They condense great part of the observations pointed out by those who have studied the text from their original publication, in 1959. Zavala published the anthological volume four years ago, The logged dinosaur, where it gathered diverse studies and texts written starting from this minifiction.
