| Sumario: | There isn’t currently any alginate for dental impressions which avoids the adherence of microorganisms. Thus the aim of this study was to synthesize silver nanoparticles, evaluate their cytotoxicity and add those nanoparticles to the formulation of a commercial alginate so that it gets specific antifungal characteristics against Candida albicans. Its use is then suggested to prevent cross-contamination. |
