| Sumario: | The genus Senecio is represented in the Province of Tucuman by 40 species, all indigenous, distributed in two subgenera : Eusenecio with twelve sections, Dioiconenecio with only one section. The species and varieties that are new to science are the following : S. flagellifolius nov. sp. S. Lorenizii var. radiatus nov. var., S. Lorenizii var. lalifolius nov. var., S. macualos nov. sp., <S. roripaefolius nov. sp., and S. tafiensits nov. sp. The author gives keys and descriptions of all the species. |
