Sumario:A few months ago, a complete reform of the National Law 24.240 – the law that deals with consumer protection – was proposed in Argentina. The draft advises a profound update of content, the expansion of the spectrum of principles, consolidates the dialogue of sources with the Civil and Commercial Code, incorporates innovative rules and unprecedented concrete solutions, resolving issues that receive different readings since the promulgation of the Civil and Commercial Code. In addition, insists on proposals that were then rejected by the Legislative or Executive when that law was sanctioned. This study, aligned in narrative style, proposes to explore from a dogmatic perspective the main aspects of this draft law.
