Sumario:We are engaged, at the IAR, in a survey of the continuum at 1435 MHz in the southern hemisphere. We put a polarimeter to measure simultaneously the four Stokes parameters. It is based in a receptor which decomposed the incident radiation into polarization components (circular, left and right). The energy detection in each chanel plus the sine and cosine products give the output. The four singles are demodulated and processed using a Commodore 64 computer and an IBM respectively. The final processes will be done at MPI.
