| Sumario: | This paper draws on advances in knowledge, product research that its authors participated, about recent changes in the configuration of the territory of the Upper Valley of the Black, Limay andNeuquén rivers in economic dynamics and functionality cities, which have led to the formation of the so-called Conurbation Neuquén, with a hub at Neuquén. Such changes, among other impacts, have meant extending the area of influence of the city, and the intensification of inter-city and urban-rural linkages, showing flows of people, goods, services and knowledge, which motivates further research issues in order to point out some evidence regarding the development of the urban economy and regional urban system, and identify the problems raised by the development in the current strategic environment. |
