Sumario:This research analyses the "resistances" that the inhabitants of small towns carry out to mitigate the impacts of the hegemonic development model in mountain ranges of Córdoba (Argentina). To this end -taking as a temporal axis the commotion caused by the mega-fires that occurred in 2020 in the province of Córdoba- collective organisational processes that emerge from the community are explored, proposing other ways of socio-spatial production. Based on an ethnographic case -the movement of forestry brigades-, this research provides reflections on new forms of territorial management and defence in order to confront socio-environmental problems in the face of the advance of extractive processes.
