With the expectations placed in Onganía's government exhaustedand faced with the indefinite postponement of a new electoral process, the coupconspiracy and confrontation with the regime appeared to be the only possible ways toachieve Perón's return. In this context, the Justicialist leader assigned his delegate twogoals: to achieve the unification of Peronism under his leadership and for the MNJ toadopt a position of confrontation with the military dictatorship.Following a qualitative strategy, our research reconstructs the way in which Albertesought to achieve these objectives, taking into account the circumstances that led him toally himself with the Peronist left and the combative sectors of the movement. To do so,it analyses in depth the realignments of the main actors, focusing on the Trade UnionBranch and the impact that the reorganisation of that sector had on the PoliticalBranches for Men and Women and on the Youth. Este artículo aborda la reorganización del Movimiento Nacional Justicialista (MNJ) bajo la conducción del mayor Bernardo Alberte, que tuvo lugar entre febrero de 1967 y abril de 1968. Agotadas las expectativas depositadas en el gobierno de Onganía y ante la postergación indefinida de una nueva salida electoral, la conspiración golpista y la confrontación con el régimen aparecían como las únicas vías posibles para lograr el retorno de Perón. En ese marco, el líder justicialista asignó a su delegado dos tareas: lograr la unificación del peronismo bajo su conducción y que el MNJ asumiera una política de confrontación con la dictadura militar.Siguiendo una estrategia cualitativa nuestra indagación reconstruye la forma en que Alberte buscó cumplir con esos objetivos, atendiendo a las circunstancias que lo llevaron a aliarse con la izquierda peronista y los sectores combativos del movimiento.
