Sumario:Migration flows in today’s world are very intense and respond to multiple causes. Around the combination of them, several typologies are developed that make up the complexity of the migratory phenomenon. In the context of intra-regional migrations in America, in the last five years, forced migration promoted by thousands of Venezuelans has gained visibility, as a result of the political crisis that this South American country is currently going through, being, in turn, a migration of the type qualified. The objective of the work is to analyze the characteristics of the recent migratory flow of Venezuelans to Bahía Blanca and the specificities of the migratory space under construction. A mixed, quantitative - qualitative methodology is applied based on the information produced by different sources, also including personal experience from a situated perspective. A case study was used as a local benchmark for global trends around recent migratory movements. Venezuelans in the study area make up a community that glimpses transnational characteristics, which can be corroborated through the various practices, activities, life experiences and subjective senses of these groups.
