Sumario:The main objective of the study was to identify the most important engagement drivers in developers, according to their career stage (Jr., SSr., Sr.) in a small company with exponential growth and dispersed talent in Latin America: Global Task. Firstly, an investigation of the relevant theoretical framework on employee engagement was carried out, with the development of the main theories and definitions of engagement, and possible ways to detect and measure it in traditional teams and virtual global teams. To fulfill the purpose of the research, a case study was implemented in the Global Task company through the implementation of surveys to all its developers. Finally, it was possible to identify the five main drivers of engagement, being in general financial compensation and benefits, and opportunities for career development and learning the main ones according to the career stage of the developers. Strategies and an action plan were also proposed to improve engagement management in the company.
