Music and its artists will quickly demonstrate the consequences of the flood. Horacio Guarany was one of the first to offer his version of the flood through his song «Carta abierta al río Salado». In this paper we will analyze the approaches that the author used to define the causes of the 2003 flood. La inundación de la ciudad de Santa Fe en 2003 fue el acontecimiento más trágico de la provincia y uno de los más dramáticos de la historia en el país. El desborde del río Salado originó el fallecimiento de cientos de personas y posteriormente cambió la vida de otras miles.     La música y sus artistas rápidamente empezaron a evidenciar las consecuencias de la inundación. Horacio Guarany fue uno de los primeros en ofrecer su versión de la inundación a través de su canción «Carta abierta al río Salado». En este trabajo analizaremos los enfoques que el autor utilizó para definir las causas de la inundación de 2003.
