Sumario:Regarding State-owned companies and public utilities, the Cambiemos policy was characterized by exponential increases in prices while budget and personnel suffered reductions. In this sense, its administration had ensured favorable business conditions for private companies at the expense of the sector’s improvement and users’ interests (Rocca, 2023). The arrival of the Frente de Todos (FdT) to the presidency in 2019 presented the possibility of reversing this situation by implementing policies alike the ones of the Kirchnerist governments (2003-2015) in which State intervention increased. What characteristics did State action adopt to overcome the inherited conditions? What kind of policies shaped it? What continuities and ruptures can be identified regarding to the Cambiemos government? The answers to these questions guide the development of this article. The analysis is based on official documents, legislation and newspaper articles.
