| Sumario: | This article examines Xavier Zubiri’s last philosophical work, which focuses on an analysis of acts as facts. In doing so, we address his methodological framework and proceed to engage with the concept of praxis. In that sense, we distinguish Zubiri’s approach to praxis from Aristotle’s conception of praxis as energeia. The latter is redefined as “actuity” while he proposes a different perspective: understanding acts as “actuality”. Nevertheless, the evolution of Zubiri’s thought in his trilogy on sentient intelligence allows for a comprehensive revision of a diverse conception on acts and “real things”, not as actuality but as “actualization”. Therefore, we undertake a reconstruction of his thought to highlight the core elements of this perspective, ultimately leading to a general reconfiguration of praxis. |
