This article analyzes the speeches of professionals from the public and private sectors related to extensive production from different regions within the Pampas agriculture and who have incorporated alternative approaches to respond to the limitations of the current paradigm. Through interviews, the actors' vision, motivations and trajectories are explored, identifying the common diagnosis of the effects of the predominant model and the various forms of construction of new perspectives on its problems and solutions. Based on these findings, profiles are created—as ideal types—representing the different visions in the sector, contributing to the understanding of the dynamics of productive change in the Pampas agriculture. El modelo agropecuario predominante en Argentina atraviesa una crisis marcada por problemas técnicos, económicos, sociales y ambientales, lo que ha impulsado el surgimiento de alternativas productivas. Este artículo analiza los discursos de profesionales del sector público y privado relacionados con producciones extensivas de diferentes regiones al interior del agro pampeano y que han incorporado enfoques alternativos para responder a las limitaciones del paradigma actual. Mediante entrevistas, se explora la visión, las motivaciones y trayectorias de los actores involucrados, identificando el diagnóstico común sobre los efectos del modelo predominante y las diversas formas de construcción de nuevas perspectivas sobre sus problemas y soluciones. A partir de estos hallazgos, se elaboran perfiles —como tipos ideales— que representan las distintas trayectorias y visiones presentes en el sector, colaborando en la comprensión de las dinámicas de cambio productivo en el agro pampeano.
