Sumario:Studies on the First World War have experienced a significant change, especially from the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. Changes driven by the commemoration of 100 years of war, but mainly by the new Cultural History that brought the cultural aspects of war to the center of those studies and the idea that the First World War should be thought of in transnational terms. Such winds of change have recently arrived in Brazil. This article aims to make a first joint analysis of Brazilian production, seeking to point out trends and raise some questions about the cultural impacts of the war in Brazil.
