| Sumario: | This paper shares some reflections inspired by my teaching practices at the exhibition Identidades sin Límites: Un Viaje de Humanidad (Identities without Limits: A Journey of Humanity) in Tecnopolis (Buenos Aires, Argentina). The exhibition of Identidades aims to stimulate the deconstruction and denaturalisation of racist and Eurocentric ideas within the visitors by exposing them to different encounters with alterity at the same it implicitly works with the idea of plural identities. My hypothesis is that visitors belonging to African or Indigenous collectivities, or related to people who disappeared during the last civic-military dictatorship (1976-1983) saw their experiences reflected, so the exhibition of Identidades… would ease the activation of identity marks in the visitors, according to Claudias Briones’ proposition. |
