Sumario:The Hispano gothic kingdom was marked by intense conflicts between the royal power and the aristocratic segments. The result of these disputes was the promulgation of laws that punished traitors and infidels with exile or, in case of escape, banishment. We find examples of both forms of mobility in the 6th and 7th centuries, particularly in the work of Valerio del Bierzo that is analyzed in this study.
