| Sumario: | There is a long history both in the process and in the criticisms of the practice of Performance Appraisal. The nature of criticism can be classified into operative-instrumental and ideological. Within these last ones the ones of the Critical Management Studies and those expressed by the Sociology of the Work are developed. This article proposes a "critique of criticism" not with the sense of avoiding the criticism but of initiating a debate on these issues and clarifying the logical questions in the questions of the practice of performance appraisal. |
