Sumario:In recent years, university libraries have had to discern and define a new role that considers both their social function and their integration into the teaching and learning process. This challenge means assuming that libraries must be an inspiring environment for students, teachers and researchers to enhance their learning experiences. This paper presents the management model of the Library System of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina. It develops the changes introduced based on the results of the library’s evaluation and the methodologies applied to transform it into a user-centered management model. Sharing this experience aims to contribute to the reflection on librarians’ new roles and functions, the possible management models, and to raise awareness of the importance of the organisational cultural change that the library community must face.  ARK CAICYT: https://id.caicyt.gov.ar/ark:/s18511740/wdkjid8fz
