Sumario:This article aims to discuss what factors have determined the development of the Norwegian shipbuilding and ship repair industry after 1945, and how it’s place in the industrial structure has changed in the after-war epoch. In addition to market conditions and political regulations, a structural change in the way capital operates in the industry is important.
