In this article we intend to establish a proposal of an epistemological agenda in the field of Administration from a critical and situated perspective. Throughout the article there is a call for the consolidation of a review of the theoretical course of the field based on the postulates of the Critical management studies, but which addresses the particularities of the regional and local context.
In Latin America, in general, and in Argentina, in particular, this discipline has been characterized by the reproduction of the classic and orthodox version of Administration, whose basic orientation was focused on the elaboration of diagnostic proposals and organizational intervention based on the interests of the owners, managers and shareholders of corporations (especially for profit). In this sense, we support the need to propose a research agenda that addresses the phenomenon of the Administration based on epistemological reflection with the objective of producing systematic knowledge about the eminently social nature of the administration of organizations attending to the uniqueness of our region and contribute to the construction of fairer and more equal societies. |
