Throughout the article there is a call for the consolidation of a review of the theoretical course of the field based on the postulates of the Critical management studies, but which addresses the particularities of the regional and local context. In Latin America, in general, and in Argentina, in particular, this discipline has been characterized by the reproduction of the classic and orthodox version of Administration, whose basic orientation was focused on the elaboration of diagnostic proposals and organizational intervention based on the interests of the owners, managers and shareholders of corporations (especially for profit). In this sense, we support the need to propose a research agenda that addresses the phenomenon of the Administration based on epistemological reflection with the objective of producing systematic knowledge about the eminently social nature of the administration of organizations attending to the uniqueness of our region and contribute to the construction of fairer and more equal societies. En este artículo pretendemos establecer una propuesta de agenda de carácter epistemológico del campo de la Administración desde una perspectiva crítica y situada. A lo largo del artículo se desarrolla un llamado a la consolidación de una revisión del derrotero teórico del campo en base a los postulados de los Critical management studies, pero que atienda a las particularidades del contexto regional y local. En Latinoamérica en general y en la Argentina en particular, la disciplina se ha caracterizado por la reproducción de la versión clásica y ortodoxa de Administración, cuya orientación básica estuvo enfocada en la elaboración de propuestas de diagnóstico e intervención organizacional subordinadas a los intereses de los propietarios, directivos y accionistas de las grandes organizaciones.
