Sumario:The role of seminars is shown in the new research model that was implemented in the recently created Facultad de Ciencias Económicas of Universidad de Buenos Aires. Various sources of the time are examined to characterize the research seminars and the publications that they originated. The German research seminar model was adapted, providing it with a methodology based on the use and criticism of written sources, a collaborative bias was imprinted on the research and organized the dissemination of the results to guarantee its social appropriation.
