| Sumario: | In this paper we analyze the cubist poetics present in flamenco, which was initiated and developed by Vicente Escudero in 1924 at the Théâtre de la Courbe in Paris, following the scenic approaches which began to be developed in the early twentieth century around the avant-garde. Also, this cubist poetics is still present even today in some creations, such as the dancer Israel Galván’s performance La Curva of 2010. In this way we intend to establish a correlation between Cubism and the creations of these two artists based on the transformation of traditional codes included in the artistic languages. |
