Sumario:In this paper we provide details of timing, while offering a comprehensive understanding of the wall and the settlement of Mount Cilda. Has the peculiarity of having been occupied intermittently throughout antiquity and the early Middle Ages. Its strategic location and good natural defenses are at the origin of the different uses that you received as strong or as habitat center, depending on the historical contexts.Finally, the wall has undergone a comprehensive study on our part during the Congress held in Lugo in 2005, with the title: Walls of Roman cities in the west of the Empire. Lucus Augusti as a paradigm.
