Sumario:In this paper I propose an approach to the notion of theatrical performance according to Aristotle, mainly from Poetics. I will concentrate on observing, at first, if the philosopher recognizes the show as a separate sphere. Then I will inquire about their characteristics. In conclusion, finally, I will outline a systematization of what Aristotle recognized as theatrical performance with special emphasis in the art of the actor.
