On the other hand, it intends to contribute to the understanding of the roots of these asymmetries looking at the differences in the public policies implemented by both countries during the period extending from the implementation of the MERCOSUR, in the early 90's, until 2008. El objetivo de este trabajo es, por un lado, analizar el aumento de las asimetrías productivas que se produjeron entre Argentina y Brasil durante las dos últimas décadas, vinculándolas con el déficit comercial de productos industriales que presenta hoy la Argentina en la relación bilateral.
