Sumario:The work raises particular challenges of civil liability's regulation in non-contractual international cases that had been faced by the Argentine legislator by providing -for the first time in the internal source private international law- solutions concerning international jurisdiction and applicable law regarding "civil liability". This regulation is inserted into a movement of primacy of fundamental rights and modification of the paradigm of substantive law in the matter, which is currently focused on the compensation of the victim and not exclusively on the liable's conduct. The study of this subject leads to a methodological reflection on private international law in our time and on the necessary balance between the different interests at stake.
