| Sumario: | We are immersed in a global experiment of forced remote working under difficult conditions, sharing space with members of our family in similar circumstances while performing household chores and caring for our family. The challenges of teleworking are: finding an appropriate place to carry out the tasks; choosing technological tools, establishing appropriate parameters of cyber security, ensuring confidentiality, organizing work, motivating teams and keeping fluid communication. Active listening, effective communication, team spirit and empathy are crucial. In the future, social distancing, face-masks, hand hygiene, shall be the new norm. We will have to create a secure workplace according to the new parameters, which entail numerous changes: new rules, habits and recommendations. Will we sacrifice our personal freedom in view of collective health? Should we be afraid of the risk of this tyrant virus? |
