Sumario:The use of an effective vaccine against fasciolosis is currently and due to advances in the field, an achievable goal. This article is a review of recent data and the main results about the search for vaccine candidates against fasciolosis. In the present work it presents the search done and results from the use of attenuated vaccines irradiated to new strategies that involve the development of recombinant vaccines and DNA.
