Sumario:This work addresses some of the challenges that legal operators face today when addressing the regulation of international contracts. It focuses on the examination of the dilemmas that globalization poses between uniformity or harmonization and a synthesis of the trends in this matter is carried out. The disruptive effect of new technologies is examined in a quick review from the second industrial revolution to the metaverse and the challenges that these new disruptive technologies imply for the DIPr are raised. It is noted that dematerialization, delocalization and transnationalization of the reality environment in new legal relations require a new understanding of these "cases". The importance of the nature of the technological support and the functional equivalence of the facts is highlighted in the search for the applicable law and the jurisdictional context and the denationalization of legal relationships in determining the competent court
