These productions were oriented by the appropriation of particular written genres and diverse sources and materials of the written culture. Also, the literacy practices were articulated with the construction of the authorship and power relations maintained between publishers and reading public, all of them from the same student group. In this institutional circumstances, the students used the writting as instrument of expression and “concretion” of the circulating arguments and as a strategy to promote the dialogue and a new form of social participation. Este trabajo desarrolla cómo los estudiantes de una escuela de nivel medio superior (CCH-Sur) impulsaron en el contexto de huelga de la UNAM (1999-2000) la conformación de un espacio de opinión pública a través de sus producciones escritas. Estas producciones se encontraron orientadas por la apropiación de particulares “géneros de escritura”, y diversas fuentes y materiales de la cultura escrita. Asimismo, las prácticas de escritura estuvieron articuladas con la construcción de las autorías y con las relaciones de poder sostenidas entre editores y público lector, pertenecientes al mismo colectivo estudiantil. En estas circunstancias institucionales los estudiantes utilizaron la escritura como instrumento de expresión y “concreción” de los argumentos circulantes y como estrategia para promover el diálogo y una nueva forma de participación social.
