Sumario:This paper presents the methodological design of a project, which proposes to study the bibliographic holdings of the libraries of the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) from its founding in 1896 to the present. The project's overall objective is to analyze the formation, organization, circulation, and uses of these collections in order to reconstruct their institutional memory, identify the intellectual networks that structured them, and understand their role in the production, preservation, and transmission of knowledge in the humanities. Furthermore, it aims to connect the history of reading with current challenges in knowledge documentation, visualization, and management. ARK CAICYT: https://id.caicyt.gov.ar/ark:/s18511740/ez1b8qx3b
