| Sumario: | This paper analyzes the experience of “Barrio Intercultural” project implemented in the
town of San Martin de los Andes, Neuquén Province since 2004. By analyzing the
geographical, social, ethnic, economic and political features in this region, we intend to
approach to understanding the phenomenon. By incorporating a theoretical framework,
the concept of interculturality is defined and debated, with emphasis on the danger of
appropriation by the neoliberal, rescuing its definition as a project of profound change,
the claim of breach of asymmetrical structures dominant hegemonic unequal power. |
