Sumario:The hypothesis guiding the paper assumes that in the exercise of executive power both fronts, despite the differences in their formation and origin points, managed to translate into action much of its ideology of economic and social change. It is proposed that both the FA and FV in terms of government inaugurated by Nestor Kirchner in Argentina (2003-2007) and Vazquez in Uruguay (2005-2010), while maintaining differences in the way they do and build policy from the institutional point of view, we understand that, in turn, comes from their differences both in their training time in the characteristics of their own political cultures of both countries recorded a series of matches in both the level of their aims and ideals as the results of the implementation and completion of their programs of government.
