Sumario:The results achieved with the research carried out at the National University of Cordoba (Fornasari y Maldonado, 2020) and the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (Sánchez Calderón, 2019), from a mixed methodological design, applied to the field of Higher Education. Our problem focuses on university students who do not advance in their academic trajectories. They abandon their studies, when they are unable to cope with the curricular demands and institutional environment, because they lack the epistemic, social, and emotional strategies to consolidate their training in the career of Psychology. With the Socio-Emotional Skills (SEH) scales, focus groups, and interviews applied to the samples, we demonstrate that an Ethical Training Programme, based on SEH, transforms and improves the quality of life in academic environments, it strengthens healthy coexistence, and it builds a sense of university learning communities, in solid, institutional, and participative trajectories.
