Sumario:This paper work aims to determinate the potential zones with agricultural activities highest aptness level in the middle Lujan river basin, Argentina. To achieve the goal, a multi-criteria evaluation analysis was carried out, by using the geographic information systems [GIS]. Based on the geospatial data using the MCA methods it was possible to integrate a series of thematic layers in raster format that account for factors and restrictions in the agronomic, socioeconomic and environmental ways. As the main result, it was obtained a synthesis map with the zoning of soil aptness level represented in five aptitude levels (very apt, apt, moderately apt, very little apt and unapt). The results constitute a contribution from geographic studies to support decision- making and conduct actions in the field according to the potential aptness, admitting to achieve the best balance between environmental, economic and social factors.
