| Sumario: | In the last years, the observation, understanding and systematization of modal choices and motivations has begun to be problematized in the disciplinary field of mobility in Argentina, from a gender perspective. That is why, it is proposed to analyze the configuration of urban mobility in a middle-income city of La Matanza: Ramos Mejía. The methodological strategy contemplates analyze the women’s mobility from the household mobility survey that took place in the AMBA, focusing on the modal choices and the motivations for the travel. This analysis is complemented with interviews and observation, with the purpose of getting reflections on the mobility practices of middle-income women with a view to the elaboration of recommendations that favor a more inclusive social, political and economic mobility. |
