In the recent decades in Argentina, new historiographical perspectives about the 19th century have emerged, and an interesting renovation has been taking place. However, the Paraguayan War has not been thoroughly addressed by these new currents. We intend to analyze the Argentine historiographic production, along with contributions of other national historiographies about the topic.
