Synthesis of tetrazoles from some per-O-acetylaldononitriles
Synthesis of 5-(polyacetoxyalkyl)tetrazoles from some acetylated aldononitriles by reaction with ammonium azide is described. Deacetylation of these compounds afforded the corresponding 5-(polyhydroxyalkyl)tetrazoles. © 1975.
