| Sumario: | Effectiveness factors are computed for a second order reaction of the type A + B ⇌ R + S for both irreversible and reversible cases. The influence of different reactant diffusivities, of a nonstoichiometric relationship of reactant concentration, and of equilibrium constant upon effectiveness factor are analyzed.
