Sumario:The internal reflection in byaxial crystals is analyzed. Formulae to calculate phase velocities and the directions of the normals to the wavefronts and of the rays of the reflected waves in a interface biaxial crystal - isotropic medium are obtained. The limiting angle of inhibited reflection is calculated and plots which show the dependence of this angle on the incidence plane are given. In the case in which the interface coincides with a principal plane of the crystal analytical formulae are obtained.
