Sumario:In this article, we look at the diachronic changes in tango harmony with the methods of network science. We are able to detect some significant tendencies of harmonic discourse in the first half of the 20th century, among them an enrichment of harmonic transitions and power law frequency distribution of triadic chords with exponents compatible with a quite small rate of accretion of the vocabulary. © 2017, Springer International Publishing AG.
