New evidence of an excursion of the geomagnetic field recorded in late Pleistocene sediments in Argentina
A palaeomagnetic study carried out on late Pleistocene sediments from the sub-soil of the city of Bahía Blanca (38.75°S, 62.25°W) indicate an event or excursion of the geomagnetic field. Radiocarbon dates the excursion between 27500 and 35500 ybp. It could be the same as that recorded in Mungo Lake...
