This paper discusses burial type, distribution and post-depositional processes, as well as the paleopathologic, chronological and isotopic skeletal analyses that reveal dietary patterns. On a regional scale, these new bioanthropological data add to knowledge of an area of Tierra del Fuego that is in desperate need of further research. On a supra-regional scale, the results support previous interpretations of the biocultural diversity found in the human groups that inhabited southern Patagonia during the Holocene.
